Current Position: · I am now with the Research Triangle Institute (RTI) in the Health Solutions division. · My research in health economics focuses on the application of operations research techniques to the construction of cost-effectiveness and budget-impact models for emerging pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device products. · My new email address: abrogan@rti.org. PhD Research: · In May 2003, I completed my Ph.D. at UNC Chapel Hill in the Department of Operations Research. · My dissertation topic was financial portfolio optimization, with a focus on lower partial moments (LPM) as measures of portfolio risk, separation in the mean-LPM framework, and the role mutual funds play in optimal portfolios. · View my academic information, including my CV, papers, dissertation, and teaching experience.
