Historyforkids! is a new service for kids, parents and teachers. They
have
lots of information, all specially written for middle school students
by
experienced university professors. The site is kid-friendly &
kid-safe.

site. Graphical interface is good for kids, has an older kid option
too,

Locksley's Today in Medieval History
Find out what happened a particular day in Medieval history. Pick a
day
(December 25) and the database will tell you what happened on that day
in
various years throughout the period. Here's an example:

Welcome to ORB! ORB is an academic site, written and maintained by
