Viper

by Black Flag Viper is an interesting player, because he has distinct strengths and weaknesses. It's hard to get a read on his overall skill level as a result. Viper is a veteran, having played for at least 3 or 4 years, I think. He is a mid-level player, overall. He can take pills, hold a front, has a pretty good sense of the flow of the game. The odd thing about him is that it's easy to get a big lead on him, but difficult to put him out. In the early stages of a 1x1, you can often really punk Viper, but you have a hard time putting him out of his misery. I think Viper's strongest attribute is his LGM shooting. Be very cautious about trying to spike in Viper's face--he is very good at ranging on the fly and killing your man on the way in. I think this is what makes him so hard to finish off. I think Viper is a fairly good pillwar player, but he can be pushed back by flanking maneuvers or spikes from behind. You're better off not taking him on pill to pill--he's pretty good at that and it's what he expects you to do--if you do something else, you can get him all discombobulated. He does tend to make mistakes and leave openings for you to disrupt him. Viper is a very easygoing guy--he's not supercompetitive, and will sometimes seem like he's not very into the game. Consequently, he may play poorly in one game and quite well in the next. Don't bother yelling at him, heh. |
