I am an Associate Professor in the
economics department at the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
I am also the Director of the Demography and Economics of Aging Research Center (DEAR) on campus.

Conference:
Ahmed Khwaja (Duke, Fuqua) and I hosted a conference entitled
"Structural Models of Consumer Optimization Behavior: Labor, Retirement and Health" in September 2005.
The conference was generously funded by NIA and DEAR.
We are currently editing a volume of the J. of Econometrics that will showcase the work presented at that conference.
