I am a professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill. I received my Ph.D. in political
science from
the University of Rochester and joined the faculty at UNC in the fall
of 2005, where I teach courses in international relations and
political
methodology. My research interests include
military
intervention, conflict management, and bargaining in civil conflicts.
