Things we should have considered…………….

Information Resource Management Commission (IRMC):
"Lt. Governor Dennis Wicker formed the IRMC Work Group on Accessibility in the fall of 1999 in response to a request from Secretary of Administration Katie Dorsett. As the state moves increasingly into "self-service" government and e-commerce, it is important that all state services be available to both clients and employees despite any physical disabilities. The Work Group will research and recommend policies designed to ensure that all electronic services are available to all citizens. The work group is comprised of state employees, vendors of technology services, and advocates for the disabled."  See: http://irmc.state.nc.us/access/
