This webpage is an update of the legislature RAFI is working to get passed. This source shows the greater goal of my work at RAFI. Most importantly, it shows the main issues that contract agriculture farmers are dealing with.

This source is the result of a survey done of contract broilers to gain information on their relationship with the company they're contracted on. The study includes information on arbitration clauses, opinions on the practices of the company, quality of birds, ect. The study explains the main problems raised with contract agriculture and uses survey data to back them up. This study is important in showing the general feelings of poultry growers towards their situation.

This article explains a bill that was introduced into contract to prevent unfair contracts for farmers. It addresses the issues of contract farmers and provides solutions to those issues. This provides me with information on the issues of the farmers that I am interviewing and how those issues could possibly be resolved.

This source explains the functions of the contract agriculture department of RAFI-USA. It highlights the five main concentrations that RAFI focuses on. The source is important because it explains the reasons that I am doing this work for RAFI and is a background for issues that will come up during my interviews.

This source is useful because it is a profile of a farmer in the same situation as the farmers that I am interviewing.

This source is valuable for my interviews because I must have knowledge of how the system works in order to understand what the farmers have to say about it.
