An NIH-funded postdoctoral position is available for two years in Dr. Topal's laboratory. The position has the potential to be expanded beyond two years. The main focus of the position is our recent identification of several new protein targets for the mechanism of ataxia. Candidates are expected to be well versed in molecular biology or biochemistry. In addition, candidates should be familiar with gene cloning techniques as well as immunofluorescence techniqes, including western blot, IP, and FISH.
