Meg Wallace

Hi. My name is Meg Wallace. I am a fifth year graduate student in the Philosophy Department at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

My interests are primarily in Metaphysics, Ontology, and related areas of Philosophy of Language, with side interests in Philosophy of Mind, Logic, and Philosophy of Religion. I've posted samples of some of my work here.

I am currently working on my dissertation, which defends the view that composition is identity by utilizing a plural logic and language and invoking a novel system of counting. I aim to show how mereology can be ontologically innocent, and how this might impact traditional puzzles of constitution. I will have sample chapters of my dissertation available soon, linked on my Papers and Ideas page.
