I grew
up in a football family. I cried when I was little when I learned I could
only cheer from the sidelines. My favorite team is the Pittsburgh Steelers.
I dream of seeing them play at Heinz Field, but sadly, the TV is the closest
I have ever come. I might even go to law school at the University of Pittsburgh,
and since the college and the NFL team share the same field, that might
be my best chance. Until then, I use their Web site to see who the next
week's rival is, check scores and stats and get up-to-the minute game
day coverage (like when stupid Time Warner shows the Panthers over the
Steelers). You can even sign up for the Fans Only Newsletter and make
a pick for the next weeks game. Man, I love this Site!
My next love is General Hospital. I started watching
this soap with my Mom when I was 3 years old. I have even grown up with
many of the characters. This is my favorite site for the latest scoops
and spoilers. It has all the gossip about the actors and actresses in
real life too. It also has some dreamy pics of my favorite actor, Steve
Burton, who plays Jason.
Every morning, I always turn my computer on so I
check the weather for the day. That way, I will have a better idea what
to wear and how to fix my hair (moisture is not good for naturally curly
hair). Also, if I am going out of town, I check the weather for the week
at my destination so I will know what to pack.
Of course my favorite search engine is Google, like
almost everyone else. But it is the best place to find information and
images on the Web. It is also great for finding the answers to those tough
crossword clues that you need to be able to complete the puzzle.
The Learning Channel, or TLC, is my other favorite
on TV. I always check the site to see if a new show of Trading Spaces
is on. I don't why, because I always watch the reruns again too, but I
still check. My other favorite shows are While You Were Out, A
Makeover Story and the very girlie A Wedding Story.
The best sight on the Web for procrastinators. It
has so many games to play, cool quotes, online quizzes, song lyrics, urban
legends and useless information that you can get suckered in for hours.
Bye-bye to that paper you were writing. You can even adopt a virtual pet
online.
