American Movies and CultureThis American Studies class has been one of the most interesting classes that I have taken at UNC. All we did was watch American films and analyze what they were saying about the popular culture of their times. For example, we studied Animal House and what the film was saying about young adults in the late 70's and their rebellion against society. Throughout the semester , each student kept a journal of the movies they saw and what they thought about class discussions.
