I'm a junior/senior here at UNC-CH double majoring in Journalism and Mass Communication and Environmental Studies. My interests include hiking, trail running and climbing. In Spring of 2001, I took a semester off to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail. I liked it so much, I returned to hike the Long Trail in Vermont. In Summer of 2002, I was fortunate enough to be able to thru-hike the Colorado Trail. I highly recommend any of these trails, each one was an unforgettable experience. I kept journals of the treks here for friends and family. These days I spend much of my pastime training for and running in ultra marathons. I have created a web page for such running interests.
