June 10th, 2008
Today is the 7 year anniversary of The BackBeat! Our first gig was June 10th 2001, opening the Linda McCartney photo exhibit at the Ackland Art Museum in Chapel Hill. Over 1800, attended and saw the band! What started off as a once only performance has now become a seven year adventure! In that time we've played over 350 shows, to 80,000 people in 4 states.
