Welcome to the Orange District Eagle Committee Web Site |
|
The mission of the Orange District Eagle Committee is to ensure that fair and consistent standards are applied to the planning of Eagle service projects and in Eagle boards of review, and that these standards are consistent with national BSA and Occoneechee Council advancement policies. Toward this end, an Eagle candidate must have his Eagle service project plan formally approved by the chair of the District Eagle Committee or a designate before he begins work on the project. Unit Eagle boards of review must include at least one member of the District Eagle Committee. This site provides information and resources for Eagle candidates and their adult advisors regarding the Eagle process in Orange District. The navigation links to the left of each page are described below. |
