CAMPING TRIPS

The whole family is always invited on our camping trips.  We set our calendars to do a Troop camping trip each month of the year except December.  Of course, each individual patrol is always encouraged to set out on their own.  PLUS, one full week each year is dedicated to Summer Camp.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

The Troop participates each year in at least two parades and also attends a Town Meeting.

FUND RAISING

The Scouts participate in activities which provide financial support for the Troop, subsidize their cost to Summer Camp, and assist the Community.

MEETINGS

Our Scouting ministry is active throughout the year but is flexible to meet the needs of our Scouts.
Weekly Troop meetings are held every Wednesday evening from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

SERVICE PROJECTS

As stated in the Scout Oath, "do my duty to God and my Country" and "to help other people at all times".

SPIRITUAL

A Scout is Reverent........

The Troop celebrates BOY SCOUT SUNDAY by participating in a worship service at our chartered organization, Evergreen United Methodist Church or by attending another place of worship.  The Troop also has a blessing before each meal and a worship service on campouts.  All scouts and leaders are encouraged to earn the God and Country award for their individual faith.

SUMMER CAMP

It is the true "CAMP" experience for scouts, leaders, and their families.  Usually a week long camp during either June or July.

TRAINING

All Adult Leaders and Junior Leaders (scouts) have access to and are encouraged to use the full line of BSA training materials and seminars.  The Troop has sponsored Junior Leadership Training on an annual basis.
