UNC WOMEN'S CLUB VOLLEYBALL

Welcome to UNC Women's Club Volleyball!
Traditionally, UNC Club Volleyball consists of about 30 members, organized into three teams. Two of the teams compete in the National Women's Club Volleyball League which is organized by NIRSA, The National Intra-Mural Recreational Sports Association. Local teams participating in this league include NC State, Duke University, UNC Greensboro, and UNC Wilmington among others. The third team has the option of competing in the Carolina Region United States Volleyball Association.
Both leagues participate in regional and national championships, as well as hosting several local tournaments a year.

- Tryouts: Begin Monday, Sept 15th @ 8pm in Fetzer Gym - $5 Tryout Fee
You must attend the informational meeting on Sept 9th in order to tryout
Commitment
UNC Women's Club Volleyball take spride in being a competitive team. This requires a serious commitment from every player.
The commitment includes attending all practices and tournaments, as well as participating in club events and fundraisers.
General Info
Practices for each team are usually 2 to 3 times a week for 2 hours. Usually the club participates in 2 to 3 tournaments at the end of the Fall semester,
including a home tournament hosted by the club on Saturday, Dec 7th. In the spring semester, the teams travel to 2 to 3 tournaments a month, including Nationals, through the end of April. This year, the club will also host a spring tournament on Saturday, February 6th.
