Welcome to the Carolina BarBQ Society!  We are one of the fastest growing clubs at UNC, and we claim a membership of over 100 faculty, staff, students and supporters.  We meet approximately once a month to go eat barbecue around the state.  Usually we try to bring along a speaker, someone who can talk about different aspects of the Modern South.  Previous speakers have included John Shelton Reed, Shelby Stephenson, Ferrel Guillory and barbecue restauranteurs from around the state.

We do have t-shirts for sale:  $15 for a X-Large or Large and $10 for a Medium or Small.  A picture of said shirt can be found at the bottom of the page.  The tee-shirt is also a gift to CBS "Charter Members", who with a $15 or $10 donotion (depending on their size) receive a complimentary tee-shirt and are subscribed to to the Carolina BarBQ Society listserv.
