Research Interests Spatial statistics and spatial sampling design. Parameter estimation of covariance parameters of spatial processes under fixed-domain asymptotics. Time series analysis, long range dependent/self-similar processes. Multivariate analysis. Application areas include environmental statistics, design of monitoring networks, Internet traffic modeling, anomaly detection, spatial scan statistics, and astronomy.
