Welcome!

The Atheist, Agnostic, and Non-Religious Student Association is a student organization at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill which has been founded for the purpose of bringing together students from diverse backgrounds who share philosophies about Religion. Our objectives are to provide a basic forum for the personal exploration of Atheist, Agnostic, and Non-Religious philosophies through discussion and to encourage socialization and fellowship for Atheist, Agnostic, and Non-Religious students.

In order to fulfill our goals and objectives, we will utilize meeting spaces so that students have a place to go for discussion and socialization with regard to Atheist, Agnostic, and Non-Religious philosophies.

The structure includes a planning committee and a president. The role of our advisor is to govern the association during committee and officer transitions and provide advice for potential discussion meeting topics. Membership includes all UNC graduate students, undergraduate students, and faculty and both full membership in the group and access to full participation (which includes the opportunity to be an officer of the group and the right not be excluded form any group activity) is available without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, disability, age, veteran status, sexual orientation, or gender. A majority of the organization's membership shall always be UNC-CH students.
