APPLES celebrated 20 years of service-learning at UNC in October. In partnership with the Campus Y and the Student Coalition for Action in Literacy Education (SCALE), APPLES hosted an Alumni Reunion event on October 16th from 3-5pm in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of our founding and the Anniversary Celebrations of the Campus Y and SCALE.

APPLES Reunion We celebrated 20 years of APPLES history on October 16th from 3-5pm in the Center for Dramatic Art. The event included student and alumni speakers, an interactive timeline of our history, a collection of alumni postcards, and the opportunity to reunite with colleagues and meet current APPLES organizers.

Attendees visited with current organizers of APPLES favorites, Service-learning Initiative, Internships, Fellowships, Courses, and Alternative Breaks.
