What is Fruits of Our Labor?
Fruits of Our Labor showcases APPLES events from the year. The event includes poster displays from various committees, award presentations, poster displays and ample networking opportunities. For more details about the event visit the Fruits of Our Labor web page.

Event Information

Program Presentations

Learn about the work of APPLES committees through poster displays and presentations. Faculty and community partners will co-present with student committees.

Awards/Recognition Ceremony

Award presentation to annual recipients of our Undergraduate Student Excellence Award, Community Partner Excellence Award, Faculty Excellence Award, and Service-Learning Award in honor of Ned Brooks. Official recognition of APPLES' outgoing student leadership slate.

6:15-7:00 PM

Parking Information
 Parking is available for the 2008 Showcase at the following visitor parking lots:

  • The Morehead Planetarium Lot, off Franklin Street, next to Memorial Hall

  • The Rams Head Deck, off of Ridge Road

  • The Highway 54 Lot, on Highway NC 54, diagonally across from the Institute of Government

  • The Swain Visitor Lot, off of Cameron Avenue [for those arriving after 5:00 pm only]

Although the lots have not been reserved, APPLES will reimburse parking on a first come, first served basis. Please request parking reimbursement when you check-in. Click here for a map showing locations of parking lots and the Campus Y building.
