Community Mentors Needed
Apply to be a Mentor on the Service and Leadership Theme House! Mentors will be responsible for residents of the hall, and will help them with service projects, planning hall activities, and adjusting to life at Carolina.
Service and Leadership is a chance for participating students to work
with a variety of campus organizations, such as APPLES, Carolina
Leadership Development and the Center for Public Service. In addition, mentors will have the opportunity to work with other service organizations in the area as they make the contacts necessary to plan programs.
Mentors are required to live on the floor and will meet regularly with
other mentors, RAs and APPLES staff members to plan events. Mentors also help to keep residents involved with the program and to assist them in meeting requirements. This is a great opportunity for a leadership position, and a chance to help further the development of a theme housing community.
