Course Placements
The locations where students participate in the service portion of their course vary depending on the type of course and the instructor. APPLES is currently affiliated with over 250 Triangle-area community partners where students can fulfill their service-learning requirement. Our partners allow students to provide a wide array of services and deal with many different issues affecting our communities such as tutoring, child mentoring, health, environment, homelessness, literacy, hunger, elderly people, multicultural people, women’s issues, domestic violence, child development, HIV/AIDS and economic development.
