Project Educate has a simple premise: to use something that students do every day, homework, to fund school fees for the disadvantaged across the developing world. We hope to achieve this by creating a web interface on which students may compete nationally for service distinction in terms of how many assignments they posted online and how many students completed the assignments. Rather than traditional fundraising methods that are seldom sustainable, we hope to give Americans an innovative, simple, admittedly unorthodox measure of how much they're affecting the fight against poverty: how many homework assignments they post and how many people they can draw to complete them. Project Educate's job will be complete when the largest possible proportion of the estimated $2.9 billion a year in homework done in America is used towards funding the less fortunate's schooling
