ACT OUT! Social Entrepreneur Fellowships provide UNC students with the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the community through the creation of an entrepreneurial project that addresses a community issue or need. Eligibility Any returning, full-time undergraduate student at UNC is eligible to apply. A student can only be awarded one Social Entrepreneur Fellowship. Fellows are not required to be enrolled in the Minor in Entrepreneurship; however, students who are enrolled are eligible to fulfill their summer internship requirement through this fellowship. Selection Process Applications are pre-screened to ensure they meet all requirements. A selection committee of students, faculty, staff and community representatives will review applications, and invite finalists in for an interview with members of the selection committee.
