About the agency: The mission of FLOC is to educate and organize farmworkers and immigrants for better working conditions, living conditions, and immigrant rights through third party labor agreements, legislative chances, and participation of the entire community in the struggle.

 

Internship Description: The Intern will be responsible for a region and a specific number of labor camps and the education outline will be prepared. The first week of the internship is training. The intern would provide education and awareness about laws that protect and do not protect workers’ move to gain improvement of lifestyle on worksite.

 

Skills Needed: Fluency in Spanish, computer literacy, good communication skills, driver’s license

 

Concentrations of Interest: Community Organizing, Economics, Sociology, Corporate Responsibility
