The International Studies Schools Association (ISSA) is a national network of K-12 schools dedicated to improving students’ understanding of the world. The ISSA is administered by the Center for Teaching International Relations (CTIR) at the University of Denver Graduate School of International Studies.

African Studies Center
- Continuing Studies Course: African Survey
ASC is working with North Carolina teachers and the UNC Friday Center for Continuing Education to develop a university-level online survey course in African Studies. This course will be designed to assist teachers working toward certification to teach Africa content in K-12 classrooms, particularly at the middle school level.
