The Languages Across the Curriculum (LAC) program is delighted to offer the following LAC sections during the Fall 2012 semester.

FRENCH discussion section for:

• GLBL 210: Global Issues

GERMAN discussion section for:

• HIST 159: 20th-Century Europe

SPANISH discussion sections for:

• BUSI 499:  Business Topics in Latin America
• ENST 201: Introduction to Environment and Society
• GLBL 210: Global Issues

 

To enroll, email the LAC Program Coordinator at lac@unc.edu.

Note: LAC students are eligible to earn one credit hour for their participation in LAC courses. To receive this hour students must register for the appropriate LAC language section (ARAB 308, FREN 308, GERM 389, ITAL 308, SPAN 308, or SWAH 408) that corresponds to the main course.

Generally, LAC discussion sections are taken in lieu of the normal recitation sections in English. In courses where recitations are not required, LAC discussion sections are additional opportunities to discuss course themes in the target language of the section.
