Interested in putting your foreign language skills to work in various academic disciplines outside the traditional language/literature departments?
The LAC program at UNC enables undergraduates the opportunity to employ their Arabic, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, or Spanish proficiency skills in content-based courses from a variety of departments across campus, thereby exposing them to primary resources, cultural perspectives, and intellectual discourse in the target language. Students participating in this innovative program can receive foreign language credit, in addition to valuable international experience that will benefit them in both graduate study and the job market.
