The following table summarizes which Centers support which languages for FLAS applications. Applications may be obtained via the links to individual Center websites in the left-hand column of the table.

Center for European Studies

Dutch, French, German, Modern Greek, Italian, Portuguese (Iberian), Spanish, Turkish and other Western European languages.

Academic Year: Graduate applications accepted for all languages. Undergraduate AY applications are accepted for Dutch, Italian, Portuguese (Iberian), and Turkish.
Summer: Graduate applications accepted for all languages. Undergraduate applications accepted for Dutch, Modern Greek, Italian, Portuguese (Iberian), and Turkish.

Yucatec Maya, Brazilian Portuguese, Haitian Creole, and other indigenous and Creole languages of Latin America.

Academic Year: Graduate Only
Summer: Graduate and Undergraduate accepted

Academic Year: Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian, Czech, Hungarian, Polish, and Russian. Graduate Only

**Languages not covered by other Area Studies Centers should be submitted to CGI (i.e. Thai, Indonesian, etc).
