Global Television: Overview
Global Television is a partnership between UNC Area Studies Centers and UNC-TV, a Public Broadcasting Service affiliate. The program is a series of one-hour documentaries designed to provide North Carolina teachers and families with a better understanding of our global community by examining different international regions through the lens of history, culture, and language.
Programs cover Africa, East and South Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America, and Western Europe. Copies of documentaries are available from the sponsoring Area Studies Center, and classroom materials to supplement each film will be available online.
