L’Année philologique (literally: The Philological Year) is a standard reference work in the field of classical studies that has been providing scholars and advanced students with an annual review of bibliography in the field since 1928. L’Année philologique on the Internet is an online database that aims to contain the full text of all past and future APh volumes. It is published by the Société Internationale de Bibliographie Classique under the direction of Éric Rebillard in collaboration with the American Philological Association and the Database of Classical Bibliography, Dee L. Clayman, General Editor, with the support of the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (France) and of the National Endowment for the Humanities (USA). As of July 2004, the site includes all volumes of APh from 30 (1959) to 73 (2002). An institutional or personal subscription is required, and can be purchased online.
