This map (available in both labeled and blank versions) provides an introduction to some of the most prominent regions of the areas inhabited by the ancient civilizations of Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece and Rome. Regions listed include: Europe, Central Asia, North Africa, the Iberian Peninsula, the Italian Peninsula, the Balkans, Asia Minor (Anatolia), the Crimea, Mesopotamia, the Levant, Sinai, the Nile Valley, Arabia and Cyrenaica. The following islands are also labeled: Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, Crete and Cyprus. Unlabeled versions of this map are available along with a labeled version showing major physical features: Europe, North Africa and West Asia: Physical Geography.
