The Center has received the final shipment of Barrington Atlas compilation materials from the atlas cartographers, MapQuest.com.

The shipment came in two parts: physical film compilation bases and files (6 5-drawer flat file cabinets plus 50 3-inch tubes and two "banker's boxes") and digital compilation files (12 CDROMs). Center staff are currently sorting and inventorying these materials as part of an effort to make long-term plans for their archiving and storage.
