The Franck Goddio Society is a public outreach and educational organization, dedicated to archaeological underwater exploration. The Society aims to inform and involve the general public through television programming, the World Wide Web, books and CD-ROMs and other media created around the explorations of Franck Goddio. The site includes information about Goddio’s work in many areas, including the underwater surveys and excavations around the Canopic mouth of the Nile river, including the submerged cities of the Aboukir Bay area: ancient Alexandria and Heraklion. Some small-scale maps and plans are included.
