Bio
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Timothy is entering his fourteenth year in development and twelfth at Carolina. As Director of Development for Centers and Institutes, Minor serves as the lead development officer for eleven centers and institutes that are housed in academic affairs. In addition to his fundraising role with the centers and institutes, Timothy also serves as the University liaison for the UNC Minority Alumni Committee. The committee is comprised of four sub-committees -- the African American, Asian, Latino/a and Native American committees. By engaging these important alumni constituencies, the committee is generating new leadership roles and funding opportunities critical to the Carolina's mission to lead all public universities into the future of true excellence in higher education.
An active citizen, Minor has volunteered his time to work with children as a track coach with the Durham Striders. He's remained active in his church, Abundant Hope, as the chair of the Nehemiah Ministry and its Campaign for Hope (the building campaign). He also serves as a Board Member for the Orange County Boys & Girls Club. Timothy is married to Dr. Radiah Corn Minor.
