FAYETTEVILLE -5/18/98- University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Chancellor Michael Hooker holds on tight during a jump from a 34-foot tower at Fort Bragg used to train recruits and veterans for the more than 100,000 parachute jumps at the base annually. Hooker joined new faculty and administrators in trying their hand at the tower during the first stop of the five-day, 1,200-mile Tar Heel Bus Tour. |
