Virtus 
~~~~~~ 
Richard Boyd of Virtus Corporation demonstrated 3-D Website Builder, a $99
package that let's you use existing shapes to build a 3-D page.  Richard
showed how easy it is to build a 3-D page and move around in it. 3-D
Website Walk-through Pro ($495) lets you draw your own shapes. 

Richard gave UNC-CH a few copies of the software.
I'll work with Beth Kemp (ATN) and Richard on a site license.

Some ideas discussed for possible 3-D development:

  How to get to Student Stores
  How to get to the hospital
  Libraries
  Where parking is
  Where dorms are
  The pitt, with clickable on the Library to telnet to their online catalog.

Richard invited members of the group to visit Virtus (in Cary) for
training on Wednesday, July 24.
