How to
Participate
Registration for the UNC CAUSE 2005 conference is closed.
The conference includes opportunities for corporate participation
and support in the form of demonstrations, displays and
discussions with technology professionals specializing in higher
education. The vendor committee for UNC CAUSE 2005 invites your
company to support this year's conference as a corporate
sponsor.
- Demonstrations. The display area at the conference
site provides an interactive forum to meet attendees and discuss
products or services.
Companies may purchase a booth area which includes a 6'x8'
table and conference access for two representatives for $1,300.
Additional corporate representative registrations may be
purchased for $75 each. Booth areas may be purchased with a
completed form and full
payment. (Adobe Acrobat Reader is needed to view the PDF file.
The free program is available at Adobe
Systems Incorporated.)
With a booth area, companies may also submit proposals for
"vendor workshops" for the conference. The proposal submission
form gathers your workshop proposal information and submits
to the Vendor Committee for
consideration.
- Sponsorships. Companies may also elect to sponsor one
of the social activities. Events - such as Breakfast, Lunch and
Breaks -are available on a limited basis. Contact the Vendor

Booth
Profile
Each vendor will be provided with a 6' table, skirt, drape, two
chairs, electrical and networking connectivity for a booth
display in the designated vendor presentation area at the
conference. Additional items or supplies will not be provided by
the conference.
Network access will be available. A wired connection will be
available at each booth, and wireless coverage will be available
in the common areas as well as the vendor display area. Please
advise the logistics team if
additional network connections are needed for a display
booth.
All network users are requested to have the latest OS patches
and virus protection software installed on their computers.
Failure to do so may compromise your or other network devices and
their network access.
Door
Prizes
Vendors bringing door prizes must contact the Vendor
Committee who will provide details on distribution.
Schedule
The schedule for the vendor presentation area is provided below.
Security will be provided during the conference (Monday evening
through Wednesday morning).

If you need to ship anything to the conference site, use the

All materials shipped in for the conference may arrive on
Saturday, Nov. 5, or Monday, Nov. 7. Hotel storage is limited.
All shipped materials must state conference/group name (UNC CAUSE
2005) and date of event (Nov. 8–10, 2005) and contact name on
bill of lading.
When shipping materials for your conference display booth,
note the following rules:
- All equipment/materials shipped in and/or out of the
Wilmington Hilton must be off-loaded and/or loaded by the hired
shipping company.
- Any containers weighing more than 200 pounds will not, under
any circumstances, be moved into the hotel facilities by hotel
staff members.
- All equipment must be shipped for arrival no earlier than
three (3) days before vendor arrival. All materials/equipment
must be delivered between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
- All material must be removed from hotel at the end of the
event (Nov. 10) or a storage fee will be charged.
- All shipped materials must state conference/group name and
date of event and contact name on bill of lading.
- Any materials shipped before (3) days prior to the start of
the event, or not picked up within (2) days after the conclusion of
the event, are subject to a $5.00 per day per package fee
(regardless of size).
