CCA

The primary aim of the Carolina Caribbean Association (CCA) is to promote awareness of Caribbean culture and customs, creating a joint network of people with similar backgrounds and interests.
..::We're here to enlighten, enrich, and enhance the average Carolina experience with a CARIBBEAN flair!::...

In the past the Carolina Caribbean Association has put on parties, presented events such as a Dinner and Steel Drum Showcase and Smoothies in the Pit, and we have participated in numerous campus events such as the MASALA show. With your help, CCA plans to undertake community service projects this semester. CCA members represent a diverse cross-section of both the Caribbean and American communities and we welcome anyone from any background with an interest in the Caribbean to come to a meeting or email us for more information. CCA meets on Tuesdays at 8pm on the campus of UNC-Ch in the Parker Dormitory basement.

  • "Taste of the Islands" in Carmichael Ballroom was a resounding success! Many thanks to all who participated and helped! Check the new PICTURES (Masala Included!)
  • The first CCA House Party happened - poor turnout, but it was fun for those in attendance!
