Vision

The Carolina Center for Educational Excellence is a dynamic partnership that fosters innovation, vital relationships and new ways to improve learning environments for students in pre-school through 12th grade, university students and the professionals who support them.

Mission

The mission of the Center is to focus on continued improvement of teaching and student learning through professional development of pre-service and in-service teachers, other professional school personnel and university faculty.

This community of learners will benefit from a convergence of creative classroom instruction and digital communication technologies that fosters greater collaboration between school and university faculty and opens new avenues of research.

The Center and its partner members will offer innovative courses, conferences, institutes and programs. Technologically enhanced classrooms will provide flexibility in the delivery of such offerings and extend the reach and positive impact of these learning opportunities to students and educators regionally, nationally and internationally.
