Lunch hosted by the UNC School of Social Work

Dr. Linna Hao exchanges gifts with Chancellor Moeser. Hao directs the Division of International Collaboration for the National Population and Family Planning Commission. The UNC School of Social Work collaborates with Hao and the commission. School Dean Jack Richman and Professor Guo Shenyang hosted the lunch.

A Student Perspective on China




UNC senior Jason Wang, a psychology major, took these photos of the Great Wall at Simatai as part of a hiking and camping trek at the 500-year-old site to snap a shot at sunrise. He visited China last spring and summer through the Jones Apparel Group Honors Asian Studies Fellowships. This fellowship is funded by a generous gift from Jones Apparel Group.

No-Name Lake is located in the center of the Peking University campus and is generally regarded as a major campus visual symbol comparable to Carolina’s Old Well or Bell Tower.
