Public Forums
Members of the search committee want to hear opinions about the qualifications needed for the next chancellor. The forums are open to anyone, but the search committee has designated the Oct. 26 forum for alumni, local elected officials and local residents. The Oct. 30 forum will target faculty, staff and students.
Approximate times have been designated for the various groups to help the search committee organize the comments and suggestions offered by speakers. Preference will be given during each time period to representatives of the group scheduled for that period, but others will have the opportunity to speak if unused time remains at the end of a scheduled session. Speakers should arrive ahead of time to sign up.
