The meeting was called to order at 1:01 pm by Nelson Schwab, committee chair.

Mr. Schwab’s opening remarks:
- Welcomed committee members to the meeting and indicated that the committee would be going into closed session immediately following Mr. Funk’s brief remarks.

There being no further business for discussion in open session, Mr. Schwab called for a motion to go into closed session.
Professor Templeton read motion to go into closed session; motion seconded by Professor Carney. Motion passed.
The committee went into closed session to consider and evaluate the qualifications of candidates under consideration.
Mr. Schwab called for a motion to return to open session.
Professor Sayre-McCord presented the motion to return to open session; motion seconded by Mr. Carter. Motion passed.
Mr. Schwab asked if there was additional business to bring before the committee; there being none, he called for a motion to adjourn.
Ms. Stallings moved that the committee adjourn; Mr. Patterson seconded the motion. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 4:28 pm.
