The meeting was called to order at 1:00 pm by Nelson Schwab, committee chair.

There being no business to discuss in open session, Mr. Schwab called for a motion to go into closed session.
Mr. Perry read the motion to go into closed session; motion seconded by Mr. Harrison. Motion passed.
The committee went into closed session to consider and evaluate the qualifications of candidates under consideration.
Mr. Schwab called for a motion to return to open session.
Professor Carney presented the motion to return to open session; motion seconded by Professor Sayre-McCord. Motion passed.
Mr. Schwab asked if there was additional business to bring before the committee. There being none, he announced the committee in recess until 8:30 am on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 in the Faculty Lounge of the Morehead Planetarium Building. The committee would then go immediately into closed session.
Meeting recessed at 3:50 pm.
