Opera FREE OPERA MATERIALS: The entire "Opera for Everyone" Project (computer downloadable CDs and the Teaching Manual) is available FREE to every member of NCMEA. The four operas ("The Barber of Seville," "Carmen,” "La Traviata," and "Madame Butterfly") are presented on hour-long CDs that include expertly performed highlights of the music and discussion of the operas. Ira Ross, producer and narrator of "Opera for Everyone" seeks to enrich people worldwide, of all ages, and at all levels, by introducing them to the Magic of Opera. To achieve this, Ross has donated the entire Project to organizations of music educators in the United States (MENC), Canada, Australia, and internationally through the International Society for Music Education (ISME). Each of these organizations has reviewed and approved the Project. To learn more about this Project, go to http://www.operaforeveryone.com/mesite/. All material can be easily obtained by visiting the web site at the above link and downloading the entire Project by following the directions on the site. For additional information, please contact Ira Ross at enjoy@operaforeveryone.com.
