Katie W.
Katie W. is a senior at UNC majoring in Biology and Psychology with a Chemistry minor (pre-med). She starting playing flute when she was seven years old, took voice lessons for two years in middle school, and played violin in her high school orchestra. She taught violin lessons for Carolina Music Outreach last year and has been involved in the organization for 2.5 years.

Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn is a junior at UNC majoring in Biostatistics with a minor in Biology. Her background in music includes piano and guitar lessons as well as many years in the school chorus. Serving on the CMO executive board as well as teaching piano to two students in the program has allowed her to share the joy that music has given her to deserving kids in the community.

Katie H.
Katie H., not to be confused with Katie W., is also a senior at UNC. She is majoring in Elementary Education with a concentration in Math and Science.  A percussionist and vocalist, she has a love of music cultivated by the many talented and inspiring music teachers throughout her public education. Katie is a band geek through and through and constantly reminisces about the glory days in her high school marching band.

Meredith
Meredith is a sophomore at UNC double majoring in Business and Music with a concentration in composition. She serves on the CMO executive board and teaches piano to students involved in the program. Her love of music has been fostered since a young age, beginning with  singing in her church’s Cherub Choir at the age of 4. Her musical skills include piano, voice, and guitar. Music has been a huge part of her life through and through, and she is excited to share her love of music with children in the Chapel Hill community.
