The practices that collaborate with CMR are located across our state, from the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, to the beautiful North Carolina coastline.  We are very fortunate to have so many wonderful people working with us.

Essential to the study of mammography are the practices that collaborate with CMR.  In order to study community-based screening in North Carolina, CMR has to gather data on breast imaging.  Community practices that provide mammography services collect this type of data through computerized data systems, and we rely on these practices to share this important information with us.  In addition, practices that work with CMR raise important questions for research, which is essential to making progress in breast screening research.  In return, CMR provides participating practices with feedback on their performance to use in quality evaluation.
