The Technical Director will be responsible
for the following duties:
* Will interview and appoint, with the
Producers, the Technical Staff
* Will oversee the functioning and progress of all technical
departments during a production
* Will ensure that all technical departments are staffed at
all times throughout the year
* In the event that a technical department does not have a
coordinator, it is the absolute responsibility of the technical
director to assume those responsibilities, tasks, and objectives
* In the event that any running crew position for a performance
is unfilled, it is the absolute responsibility of the technical
director to assume those responsibilities, tasks, and objectives
* Will coordinate the technical scheduling throughout a production
of various departments. The technical director will also coordinate
the technical scheduling within the theater in conjunction
with the artistic director
* Will provide to those interested in creating production
proposals, the names of competent designers
* Will obtain people for the positions of running crew/deck
crew for the run of the productions
* Must approve the technical feasibility of each production's
designs
