A reminder to everyone that our planning meeting will be tomorrow in Union Room 3408 starting at 1:30 pm. We'll be voting on shows, OVAs, and movies to watch this semester. If you can't attend, email Katelyn to get a copy of the ballot. See you all there!

Mon, 20 Aug '12: Interest Meeting: August 25 @ 2 PM in Union 3411
Hi there! You're probably here because you like Japanese animation. That's awesome, because we like anime too! Welcome to COUp, UNC's very own anime club. We're going to be having an interest meeting this upcoming Saturday, August 25th in Union Room 3411 starting at around 2pm. If you don't know where that room is, no worries, as we're going to have someone posted in the lobby of the Union to help direct people. We'll be talking a little bit about the club, and then we'll sit back and watch an awesome movie. Afterwards, if people are feeling up for it, we'll all go out for dinner or something like that. Sat, 18 Aug '12: Fresh Faces for a Fresh Semester
I haven't updated this page in quite a while, whoops! Summer was a blast for anyone wondering. Animazement happened, so did the annual COUp beach trip. Pictures of both will be getting put up on the Events page at some point, so look forward to those if you weren't there in person. In other news, FallFest is going on this Sunday August 19! We'll be recruiting a bunch of new members, so that should be sufficiently awesome. In other other news, COUp has new co-presidents! Meredith Kimple and Katelyn Mitchell will be fronting the club now. If you don't know what they look like, you can check out the incredibly accurate and lifelike depictions of them over on the Members page. Expect more updates soon regarding Planning Meetings and Scheduling!

Tue, 14 Feb '12: Yet ANOTHER Update
Sooo we took a poll and decided to switch out Another in favor of Fate/Zero, which will now be our first ongoing show. Our other regulars are still Tiger & Bunny and Mirai Nikki, so look forward to those next week. We'll almost most likely be watching Kara no Kyoukai 5, but that may change. Other then that, see everyone next week in Gardner 105.

Mon, 23 Jan '12: Line sitting was so much better...
The Planning Meeting took place a few days ago and we wound up with a pretty solid schedule. Go check it out over on the schedule page. Other than that, we have our reservations lined up for this semester. The first meeting of the semester will be January 31, so in about a week. Unfortunately Hamilton 100 was stolen right from under our noses, so we will be in Gardner 105 for a majority of the semester. There are two other patchy dates I have to take care of, but for the most part we'll be in Gardner 105. See everyone next Tuesday!

Thu, 19 Jan '12: Everything is so different in the future
Happy New Year to the 10 of you that read these updates! The Christmas Party was nice, lots of food and hanging out and whatnot. I'll try to aggregate some picture and put them up on the events page in a bit. In other news our Spring Planning Meeting will be this upcoming Saturday the 21st in New West 219. We'll be picking the shows for the rest of the semester, so try not to miss it.

Oh hey I haven't updated in forever, as usual! A buncha stuff happened this semester. We just finished our last meeting of the semester and everything wrapped up quite nicely. In case you haven't heard there is going to be a Christmas Party in New West 219 on Sunday, December 11th starting at around 1:30p. It's potluck style, so try to bring something if you can. I will have all of the T-Shirts with me, so you'll be able to pick them up there as well. ALSO the Events page was updated with pictures and albums and whatnot, so go check it out and get a blast from the recent past.
